PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To suppress a color change, and the occurrence of color deviation and discontinuity. SOLUTION: In a color conversion table preparing method, a color conversion table is prepared which indicates a correspondence relationship between first color area input color data 20 and second color area output color data 24. The color conversion table preparing method includes: a first color mapping step of generating first conversion color data 22 by mapping input color data 21 within a second color area; a color synthesizing step of generating a synthetic color data 23 by synthesizing the first conversion color data 22 and second conversion color data 25 obtained from the input color data 21 with a ratio according to the first color area and the second color area; and a preparing step of preparing a color conversion table with the synthetic color data 23 as output color data 24 corresponding to the input color data 20.
