PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an image processor capable of displaying moving images during still image processing, without increasing hardware. SOLUTION: When a still image is photographed with a digital camera, the still image is divided into a plurality of divided areas and processed for every divided area. If processing is finished for one divided area, and processing is performed for moving images obtained from an imaging element. If processing is finished for the moving images, another divided area of the still image is processed again. Such switching between moving image processing and still image processing is carried out until processing is finished for all of the still images. Thus, the moving images can be displayed immediately after the still image is photographed with the digital camera.
