The roll stabilizer has an actuator (3) which is arranged between two stabilizer sections (1,2). A rotor (5a) of the actuator is operated for rotating the stabilizer sections. A brake device is operated on the rotor. The brake device is formed as centrifugal brake (11), which transfers friction power between the rotor and a stator (9).
