The present invention provides a dietary fiber containing health food in the form of granules or fine granules which is easy not only to handle but also to be taken by consumers by dissolving or dispersing in water or the like, and a method of producing the same. The method of producing the dietary fiber-containing food product of the present invention uses a xylooligosaccharide as an alternative to a conventional binder. Specifically, the method comprises, when granulating a powdery food material containing dietary fiber, the granulation is conducted by adding xylooligosaccharide to the food material before or during a granulation step.
