<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To efficiently light street lamps without the use of fluorescent tubes. <P>SOLUTION: A server 101 includes: a light-emission information database 602 for storing light emission information for each light pole 102; and a transmitter unit 605 for transmitting information instructing light emission to each light pole 102 based on the light emission information stored in the light emission information database 602. The light pole 102 includes: a light-emitting member 103 for emitting light when powered from a power line 305; a receiver unit 301 for receiving information instructing the light-emitting member to emit light from the server 101 via a communication line 506; and a light emission control unit 302 for causing the light-emitting member 103 to emit light based on the light emission instructing information received by the receiver unit 301. This makes it possible for the server 101 to arbitrarily provide instructions on which light pole is to be lit, an area where light is emitted, light emission time, light emitting position, and light emitting direction. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2011,JPO&INPIT |
