PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a membrane separator capable of easily performing the detaching operation of a membrane module. SOLUTION: The membrane separator comprises the membrane module for subjecting water to be treated to solid-liquid separation, a water collection header, and the connection member. The connection member includes a connection member body which penetrates the water collection header and is freely detachably connected thereto, and a connection member connecting part which can be connected with a membrane module connecting part provided on the membrane module. The connection member body has a water passing part which is capable of making water pass from the membrane module to the liquid passing part of the water collection header and is provided with a first opening communicated with the membrane module, a hollow part, and a second opening positioned inside the water collection header.
