The electronic element is formed as a stack (1). The electronic element comprises multiple electrode layers (3,4) and multiple material layers (2) for reacting on application of an electric field. Each material layer is arranged between the electrode layers, where a structured insulation layer (7) is applied to a stack circumferential area (5). The element is covered by a polymer passivation layer. An independent claim is also included for a method for electrical contacting of an electronic element as a stack.
