The turbine has a housing (1) rotatably arranged on a tower (2) around a vertical yaw axis (13), where an electrical generator is fixed in the housing. The generator has a rotor kinematically connected to a wind wheel (3) provided on a lee side of the tower. The housing has a vane (14) provided in the form of a vertical blade that is arranged on a windward side of the tower. The surface of the vane is formed such that the counter torque is less around the vertical yaw axis by wind effect on the vane and lesser than the torque around the yaw axis by wind effect on the wheel.
