PURPOSE: A connection device for the prevention of an overload and spark is provided to prevent the risk of potential electric fires by controlling the rated capacity of each connection device. CONSTITUTION: A spark detection unit(200) detects spark due to a surge voltage. The spark detection unit outputs a spark detection signal. A variable resistance part(150) controls the rated capacity of the connection device. An overload detection part outputs an overload detection signal. A power blocking part(400) disconnects power applied to the connection device. An operating current feed part(300) supplies an operating current for the operation of the power blocking part.
