<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an ink-jet recording method for recording a high-quality image at high speed by suppressing the spread of dot diameters due to insufficient coagulation in recording a multicolor image. <P>SOLUTION: The ink-jet recording method has an image recording process of using two or more kinds of ink compositions each containing at least a pigment, and applying the two or more kinds of ink compositions to an acidic surface of a recording medium at the dotting interval of 500 ms or less, wherein at least a first color image recorded by the application is recorded by applying the ink composition containing a self-dispersible polymer having an acid value of 70-120 mgKOH/g and a water-soluble organic solvent together with the pigment. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2011,JPO&INPIT |
