FUEL CELL SYSTEM, AND CONTROL METHOD THEREOF

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a fuel cell system having a fuel cell to discharge CO2in which energy efficiency is improved and the quantity of CO2discharged to the environment is reduced.

SOLUTION: The fuel cell system is provided with the fuel cell which generates power by being supplied with a fuel gas and an oxidizer gas and discharges exhaust gas including CO2as a result of power generation, a CO extraction portion which is supplied with the exhaust gas and reduces the CO2in the exhaust gas to CO, and a recycle portion which supplies the extracted CO to the fuel cell as a part of the fuel gas. The CO extraction portion includes a CO2adsorbing member which is arranged in a treatment container supplied with the exhaust gas and composed of an oxide having oxygen deficiency.
