<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a display which can exhibit better display performance while having high reliability. <P>SOLUTION: The display includes an organic light-emitting element and a metal layer 17 on a substrate body 11. The light-emitting element is manufactured by laminating a first electrode layer, an organic layer including a light-emitting layer, and a second electrode layer 16 in turn. The metal layer 17 is disposed to surround the organic layer, is electrically connected with the second electrode layer 16, and acts as an auxiliary interconnect layer. The metal layer 17 is composed of two layers, i.e., first conductive layer 171 and second conductive layer 172. The contact resistance of the first conductive layer 171 with the second electrode layer 16 is lower than that of the second conductive layer 172. An end surface 172T of the second conductive layer 172 is retracted inwardly relative to an end surface 171T of the first conductive layer 171. Thus, a part of the upper surface 171S of the first conductive layer 171 is in contact with the second electrode layer 16.
