<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a hard coat film for which mechanical strength and an antifouling property are stably balanced. <P>SOLUTION: The hard coat film has a hard coat layer on at least one surface on a transparent base material and the hard coat layer is the hard coat film positioned on the very surface. The hard coat layer contains a fluorine compound and/or a silicon compound, the abundance ratio of fluorine on the surface of the hard coat layer measured by an X-ray photoelectron spectroscopic analysis device is within the range of 20 atomic% or higher and 70 atomic% or lower, and the abundance ratio of silicon is within the range of 0 atomic% or higher and 10 atomic% or lower. Also, surface free energy calculated from a surface contact angle is within the range of 15 mN/m or higher and 20 mN/m or lower. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2011,JPO&INPIT |
