<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an evaluating apparatus and method for a solar battery, which enables accurate evaluation of the solar battery, and also to provide a manufacturing method for the solar battery. <P>SOLUTION: The evaluating apparatus for the solar battery has: a current source 34 which supplies a current to a shunt resistor R<SB>sh</SB>of the solar battery 12 based on a current that flows into the solar battery 12 under a specific bias voltage resulting in a shaded condition; a light source 14 which emits light onto the solar battery 12; a detecting circuit 19 which detects power output from the solar battery 12 that results when light is emitted as the shunt resistor R<SB>sh</SB>is supplied with a current from the current source 34; and a processing unit 20 which calculates the characteristics value of the solar battery 12 based on the result of detection by the detecting circuit 19. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2011,JPO&INPIT</p> |
