PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To switch to an optimal operation mode according to a changing terminal usage environment used by a user. SOLUTION: The mobile communication terminal 1 includes a time information acquisition portion 12, a short range radio 13, a switching control 15, and a switching history information storage 18. The time information acquisition portion acquires time information. The short range radio detects a neighboring device. The switching control switches an operation mode according to acceptance of a switching instruction. The switching history information storage stores switching history information about switching of the operation mode, including the time information and device information about the neighboring device. When it is determined that the time information and the device information included in the switching history information read from the switching history information storage 18 correspond to the time information acquired by the time information acquisition portion 12 and the device information detected by the short range radio 13, the switching control 15 switches the operation mode according to the switching history information.
