PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a wire screen net for constituting a wire screen by mounting the wire screen net inside a stile/rail material, which can maintain antibacterial, moth-proofing and antifouling actions without deteriorating over a long period, and which can be easily manufactured. SOLUTION: A wire rod of the wire screen net is formed of a synthetic resin material which contains photocatalytic particles composed of a photocatalytic particle substance; a part of a surface of the photocatalytic particle is coated with an inactive substance inactive against a photocatalytic function of the photocatalytic particle; other parts thereof are not coated therewith; and the photocatalytic function becomes apparent on the surface of the photocatalytic particle.
