PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an interior trim part for a vehicle capable of avoiding a terminal of a peripheral edge part of a base material from floating from a surface of a vehicle body panel material by eliminating a rolling phenomenon of a clip mounting seat due to contractive deformation of the base material. SOLUTION: When a trim 1 is contractively deformed in a surface direction during cold, a peripheral sidewall 11 of the clip mounting seat 10 of a rear face of the trim base material 2 is bent and deformed in the contractive deformation direction in the remainder part of the formation of an opening window part 14 in a standing base part due to the existence of the opening window part 14. A plate surface 15a of a rib piece 15 for reinforcing provided in the opening window part 14 is formed to have a direction substantially vertical to the contractive deformation direction, and thereby the rib piece 15 is also bent and deformed in the same direction as the peripheral sidewall 11. As a result, the peripheral edge part of the trim 1 is bent and deformed and thereby the terminal is avoided from floating from the surface of the vehicle body panel material 5.
