PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a take-up utensil which can be energized without greatly changing the structure and the parts of a conventional take-up utensil, and to provide a safety belt equipped with the take-up utensil. SOLUTION: This safety belt 30 includes a belt 32, a connector 40, the take-up utensil 42 and a hook 44. In the take-up utensil 42, the main shaft is made rotatable to the frame. The energization between the take-up belt 84 and the main shaft is made possible. One end of a coil spring is attached to the main shaft. The energization between the coil spring and the main shaft is made possible. The coil spring biases the main shaft in the rotating direction by which the take-up belt 84 is taken up. The coil spring comes into contact with the frame. The energization between the coil spring and the frame is made possible. The belt 32 and the connector 40 are connected to each other, and the energization between them is made possible. The connector 40 and the frame are connected to each other, and the energization between them is made possible.
