PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an efficient method of manufacturing a push-button cover member composed of a portion made of a flexible material and a metallic portion both of which are firmly bonded on their bonded surfaces. SOLUTION: This push-button cover member 2 is composed of a metallic tube portion 4, and a blocking portion 6 made of an elastic resin and connected to the peripheral surface of the tube portion around its peripheral fringe part while blocking the one side opening of the tube portion, the tube portion is bonded to the blocking portion through a resin composition containing chlorinated polyolefine, tris-(isocyanatephenyl)thiophosphate, and an organic diisocyanate compound. The method of manufacturing the push-button member includes a process to form the coating of the resin composition on the peripheral surface of a tubular member, inject a resin having an olefin based thermoplastic elastomer by insert-molding, and mold it into the shape of the push-button member, and the temperature of a die in the insert-molding is set at 50-60°C.
