METHOD ANS APPARATUS FOR ASSIGNING TIME SLOTS IN WIRELESS AD-HOC NETWORKS

PURPOSE: A method and an apparatus for allocating time slots in a wireless ad-hoc network are provided to use a signaling slot, thereby drastically reducing time for checking information about a time slot that adjacent nodes occupy. CONSTITUTION: The second nodes(21,22,23) to which the first node(10) is adjacent are searched. The first node transmits a command for requesting information for a time slot and information for indicating timing when the time slot information is received to the second nodes. The first node receives information about the time slot from the second nodes based on the information for indicating timing. The first node allocates the time slot of the first node in consideration of the information about the time slot.
