<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a solid-state imaging device and camera system, wherein a sample-and-hold circuit is not required and image quality deterioration, area increase and speed deceleration caused by noise increase can be prevented. <P>SOLUTION: A plurality of at least either pixel drive lines (k) wired to respective rows or signal lines vsl wired to respective columns are wired. In a pixel array section 110, a pixel group PG is formed from a plurality of pixels as many as the plurality of pixel drive lines or signal lines wired, at least either to respective rows or respective columns. A plurality of pixels in the pixel group PG are connected to a plurality of different wires, respectively. A pixel drive unit 120 sequentially drives the plurality of pixels in the pixel group at shifted timings and reads out analog signals to corresponding signal lines vsl.
