<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a beverage containing a polyphenol composition of Camellia sinensis. <P>SOLUTION: The beverage contains ingredients (A) and (B) as follows: (A) a polyphenol composition which contains flavonol aglycon and flavonol glycoside derived from Camellia sinensis, and in which a mass ratio of (b) to (a), [(b)/(a)] is 0.01-18; wherein (a) is a percentage content of flavonol aglycon in the solid of the polyphenol composition after hydrolyzing, measured by high-speed liquid chromatography, and (b) is a total amount of the polyphenol in the solid of the polyphenol composition, measured by iron tartrate method, and (B) an organic acid and/or its salt. The content of the ingredient (A) is 0.01-2.5 mass%, and a concentration of the organic acid derived from the ingredient (B) is 1-100 mmol/L. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2011,JPO&INPIT |
