<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a heat pump water heater capable of performing reheating operation with high energy efficiency by suppressing an increase of a temperature of water flowing into a radiator, in a returning process from defrosting operation. <P>SOLUTION: The heat pump water heater comprises a heat pump cycle 5 having a compressor 1, the radiator 2, a decompression means 3, and an evaporator 4 connected in series, a hot-water storage tank 11 for storing a heated fluid heated by the radiator 2, a circulation pump 12 for circulating the heated fluid to the hot-water storage tank 11 via the radiator 2, and a control means 15. At the time of changing the defrosting operation for removing the frost formation of the evaporator 4 to the hot water storing operation for heating the heated fluid by the radiator 2 by operating the circulation pump 12 and the compressor 1 to store the fluid in the hot-water storage tank 11, an output of the circulation pump 12 is set to become smaller as a target heating temperature of the heated fluid set beforehand in the radiator 2 becomes higher. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2011,JPO&INPIT |
