<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To efficiently apply blurring correction with respect to an image having shallow depth of field. <P>SOLUTION: A face extraction means 100 extracts a facial image d0 from a reduced image d acquired by reducing an image D. An analysis means 20 calculates a blurring direction and a blurring level of the image D, by using the face image d0 and an image of a part corresponding to a part of the face image d0 in the image D, and distinguishes whether the image D is a defocused image or a normal image. With respect to the image D being distinguished as being a blurred image, the level of blurring and the width of blurring are further calculated. A parameter-setting means 30 sets a one-dimensional correction mask and a two-dimensional correction mask, according to the blurring width and furthermore sets correction intensity, according to the level of defocusing and adjusts the ratio between the one-dimensional correction mask and the two-dimensional correction mask, according to the level of blurring. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2011,JPO&INPIT</p> |
