<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a data processor that improves grouping precision in a structured document in which objects defined in hierarchies that differ from each other are grouped. <P>SOLUTION: The data processor comprises: a first object that is defined in a page of the structured document; a second object that is defined in a hierarchy lower than the hierarchy for the first object in the page; a first determination means for determining whether the first object is associated with the second object; a second determination means for determining whether the first object overlaps with the second object when the first object is determined not to be associated with the second object; a first grouping means for bringing together the first object and the second object into one group when the first object is determined to be associated with the second object, or when the first object is determined to overlap with the second object; and a second grouping means for separating the first object and the second object into different groups when the first object is determined not to overlap with the second object. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2011,JPO&INPIT</p> |
