摘要 <p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a radiation detector that reduces signal distortion due to a gap between modules, and facilitates data interpolation for the gap and manufacture thereof. <P>SOLUTION: The X-ray detector 30 includes a scintillator 31 and circuit boards 32-35 which demarcate pixels two-dimensionally arranged, respectively, and each of which mounts a processing circuit for processing a light signal from the scintillator into an electric signal for each of the pixels with a prescribed size. In the scintillator, two or more scintillator elements with a prescribed size are planarly arranged in at least one of row and column directions. With a pair of the scintillator and the circuit board as one module, two or more modules are planarly provided with a gap in at least one of the row and column directions. Each module includes the arrangement of pixels with the size set to a value smaller than the value of the prescribed size in the adjacent direction at an outermost end in the adjacent direction so that an area without the pixel due to the gap existing in the space between the adjacent two modules is at an integral multiple of the value of the prescribed size in the adjacent direction. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2011,JPO&INPIT</p>
