PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method of ejecting a liquid with improved hitting accuracy of a droplet onto a medium not uniform with respect to the distance from a droplet ejection head, and an apparatus for ejecting droplets. SOLUTION: The method of ejecting droplets L from a droplet ejection head 5 comprising a plurality of nozzles for ejecting the droplets L is characterized in that the ejection speeds Q1, Q2 of the droplets L are made different from each other according to the distance between each of the nozzles and the surface of a medium P onto which the droplets L are ejected.
