PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To stabilize the amount of a functional liquid ejected from a droplet ejection head to prevent the deterioration of product quality. SOLUTION: The droplet ejection apparatus including a plurality of droplet ejection heads 5 each comprising a plurality of nozzles for ejecting a functional liquid is characterized by including a means 12 of supplying a temperature-controlling gas capable of changing the temperature of the temperature-controlling gas to be supplied to the plurality of droplet ejection heads 5 in the case the droplet ejection heads 5 are in a waiting state wherein the ejection of the functional liquid is suspended and in the case they are in an ejecting state wherein the functional liquid can be ejected.
