PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To prevent a shaft-supporting member (a bearing, a shaft coupling and the like) supporting a driving shaft from being broken owing to the bend of the driving shaft for driving weaving-associated devices. SOLUTION: The driving mechanism 1 for driving the weaving-associated devices 30 and 70 installed in a loom so that the positions may be adjustable in the weaving width direction, includes a first driving shaft 2 extending in the weaving width direction so that the axis position may be different from those of the rotary axes of driven members 31 and 71 in the weaving-associated devices 30 and 70, a second driving shaft 3 connected to the first driving shaft 2 so that the relative rotation may be impossible, and supported by a frame 10 of the loom so that the rotation based on the frame 10 may be possible, and a rotation-transmitting member 4 attached to the second driving shaft 3 so that the relative rotation may be impossible, and arranged at the opposite side of a warp yarn line from the sidewall 10b at the warp yarn line side in the weaving width direction of the frame 10. An end part 2a of the first driving shaft 2 at the opposite side of the warp yarn line is inserted into a through-hole 3b formed in the second driving shaft 3, and the end part 2a is regulated so as to be supported by the frame 10 at the opposite side of the warp yarn line from the rotation-transmitting member 4.
