PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a disk device which is configured to enable a disk to be easily installed to and removed from a tray. SOLUTION: The disk device which has the tray 2 where the disk is to be placed, and a chassis 1 that holds the tray 2, and which is configured to take the disk in and out by ejecting and housing the tray 2 in the chassis 1, has an inclination means that makes the disk placed on the tray 2 incline when the tray 2 is ejected from the chassis 1. The inclination means has engagement protrusions 21b and 21b which are provided at an inner side tray 21 and which are provided to protrude toward the chassis 1, and engagement grooves 13 and 13 which are provided in the chassis 1 and with which the engagement protrusions 21b and 21b are engaged. By rotating the inner side tray 21 with respect to an outer side tray 22 according to movement of an engagement position accompanied by ejecting of the tray 2 to make the disk incline, a user can easily grab the disk, and it is possible to facilitate installation and removal of the disk to and from the tray 2.
