PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To effectively reduce vibration and noise generated in a supercharger when speed of an internal combustion engine is reduced. SOLUTION: This control device for the internal combustion engine (200) including the supercharger (217) having a turbine (217a) and a compressor (217b) which are connected to each other through a main spindle supported by ball bearings (8a, 8b) includes: a lubricating oil supply means (310) supplying lubricating oil between a bearing holder and a bearing housing (10); an idle detection means (206) detecting whether the internal combustion engine is in an idle state; and a supercharger rotational speed reduction means (100) reducing the rotational speed of the supercharger by controlling the lubricating oil supply means in order to supply the lubricating oil when it is detected that the internal combustion engine is in the idle state.
