PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To achieve effective defatting and salt reduction of a heated object with superheated steam, and to grill the heated object without dampening or impairing the taste of the heated object. SOLUTION: The cooker includes: a cooking compartment 26 disposed within a body 2; upper/lower heaters 27a and 27b disposed at the upper and lower parts within the cooking compartment 26 for heating the heated object; a grid 33 disposed between the upper/lower heaters 27a and 27b for mounting the heated object; a drip tray 31 disposed under the lower heater 27b for mounting the grid 33; an air intake 43 opened in the lower part in the front side of the cooking compartment 26; and an exhaust outlet 29 in the upper part at the rear of the cooking compartment 26. The cooker also has a metal steam tank 41 close to the lower heater 27b and above the front side of the drip tray 31 in such a way as can be taken out, and a steam spout 43 is disposed on the grid 33 side of the steam tank 41.
