PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an agricultural paper mulch sheet suppressing generation of weed for a period until seedlings of an objective field crop grow at least to some extent, and then immediately biodegrading so as to make farmers free from the need of labor of collection processing. SOLUTION: This agricultural paper mulch sheet comprising cellulose pulp of short fiber and long fiber includes a coating layer comprising ingredients containing agar and/or Shochu lees on the paper surface.
