PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a charging cord housing structure that allows a charging cord to be extracted smoothly from a housing chamber and prevents the extracted charging cord from a direct contact with the floor surface. SOLUTION: An engagement portion is provided outward of the opening of a housing chamber for housing a charging cord. The engagement portion is formed in such a manner that an entangled portion of the curled cord may be always caught by the engagement portion when the charging cord is extracted from the housing chamber. Due to this structure, the tangles of the curled cord are straightened out by the engagement portion and thereby the charging cord can be smoothly extracted from the housing chamber.
