PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To enable a cleaning without damaging in a state that a dust collecting unit is installed to improve the usability. SOLUTION: An electric dust collector 10 collects floating fine particles contained in air suctioned from an suction port 102a by the dust collecting unit 11. The dust collecting unit is constituted by a corona discharge part charging the floating fine particles in air by generating the corona discharge and an electrical collecting part allowing the floating fine particles charged by a discharge electrode to adhere electrically to a collection electrode plate 25. The collection electrode plate is installed so as to be vertical, an inflow opening 11a of air is positioned above the collection electrode plate, and also an outlet 11b of air is positioned in the lower part. The collector includes a dust removing unit 51 peeling the attaching floating fine particles from the collection electrode plate of the dust collection unit to omit, and a recovering box 131 recovering the omitted floating fine particles positioning below the outlet of the dust collection unit.
