METHOD FOR PREDICTING THERAPEUTIC EFFECT OF CHEMOTHERAPY ON RENAL CELL CANCER

Developed is a novel antitumor agent against renal cell cancer on which the existing therapeutic methods can exert only insufficient therapeutic effects. Disclosed is an antitumor agent comprising a tegafur-gimeracil-oteracil potassium combination, which can exert a therapeutic effect superior to the effects of the existing therapeutic methods, when administered to a patient selected from renal cell caner patients, on whom the existing therapeutic methods can exert only insufficient therapeutic effects, by using thymidylate synthase as an indication.
