<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a flame-retardant phosphorus-containing epoxy resin composition that is excellent in heat resistance, moisture resistance and flame retardancy without causing deterioration in adhesive properties while enhancing reliability at a high temperature. <P>SOLUTION: The flame-retardant phosphorus-containing epoxy resin composition comprises a phosphorus-containing epoxy resin (X) obtained by causing an epoxy resin (a) containing 50-100 wt.% of bifunctional epoxy resins bearing a sulfur atom in its skeleton to react with a phosphorous compound (b) comprising a compound of a specific structure having a cyclic phosphinic acid structure and a 1,4-dihydroxynaphthalene structure and, admixed therewith, at most 0.06 mole, based on 1 mole of (a), of a compound of a specific structure having a cyclic phosphinic acid structure and no 1,4-dihydroxynaphthalene structure, and a curing agent (Y). <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2011,JPO&INPIT</p> |
