<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a fluorescent lamp having a structure in which base pins are hard to be broken. <P>SOLUTION: The lamp 1 is composed of an arc tube 10 having an electrode on the inner surface and bases 30 provided at both ends of the arc tube 10. Each base 30 is composed of a first body 33 fitted into the end wall 10b of the arc tube 10, and a second body 34 extended continuously from a part of the first body 33 and fitted into the peripheral wall of the arc tube 10. In each second body 34, a pin installation region (which is the upper wall of a pin installation part 36) where the base pins 31 are erected is provided at a part thereof, and the remainder in the pin installation region is raised in the erecting direction of the base pins 31 to be used as a protection part 37 for protecting the base pins. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2011,JPO&INPIT</p> |
