<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method and device of manufacturing a composite sheet for an absorptive article, for easily setting a supply route for the continuous body of an elastic member toward a support shaft section extending along the direction of the rotation center axis of the support shaft section of a rocking arm. <P>SOLUTION: The method includes: conveying the continuous body of a sheet by winding the continuous body 103b of a sheet around the outer peripheral surface of a conveyance roller 50 rotating in the direction along the conveyance direction; and joining, through the rocking arm 61 which rocks about the support shaft section in the direction intersecting the conveyance direction with the support shaft section as a turning fulcrum, the continuous body 121 of the elastic member to the portion of the continuous body of a sheet, the portion being wound around the conveyance roller. The rocking arm is provided with a rocking end-side roller, and also with a support shaft section-side roller. In the joining, the continuous body of an elastic member supplied toward the support shaft section-side roller is sequentially passed over both the outer peripheral surface of the support shaft section-side roller and the outer peripheral surface of the rocking end-side roller and guided to the continuous body of a sheet.
