HYBRID CABLES, PROCESS FOR PRODUCING SUCH, AND COMPOSITE FABRICS INCORPORATING SUCH

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide hybrid cables, a process for producing such, and composite fabrics usable in a tire incorporating the cables, which overcome the drawback of conventional arts. SOLUTION: The composite fabric is such that it has a ratio of final tangent modulus: initial tangent modulus greater than 10. According to a preferred example of embodiment of the invention, this hybrid cable includes a textile core of an initial modulus of less than 900 cN/tex and a textile wrap of an initial modulus greater than 1,300 cN/tex which is wound on the core.
