<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To prevent a damage between layers of a superconducting coil divided in its radial direction. <P>SOLUTION: A mica sheet 51 is inserted between inner layer division coils 30a, 30b and 30c associated with a superconducting magnet 1. Thus, these coils can be insulated from one another.
