PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a simultaneous cooling and heating type refrigeration cycle apparatus with a simple configuration using outdoor units in which a cooling operation and a heating operation can be performed in a switchable manner. SOLUTION: This refrigeration cycle apparatus includes the first and second outdoor units respectively including a compressor, an outdoor heat exchanger, a gas connection port, and a liquid connection port, a plurality of indoor units in which indoor liquid pipes, indoor heat exchangers, and indoor gas pipes are connected in order, and a common liquid pipe through which the liquid connection ports of the outdoor units are communicated with the indoor liquid pipes in the plurality of indoor units. The indoor gas pipe of each indoor unit is branched into a first gas pipe and a second gas pipe, the first gas pipe is connected to the gas connection port of one of the outdoor units, the second gas pipe is connected to the gas connection port of the other outdoor units, pipe switching units for switching channels are disposed in the first gas pipe and the second gas pipe of each of the indoor units, and each of the indoor heat exchangers is communicated with only one of the outdoor units by switching the pipe switching units.
