PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a sound reproduction system enabling a user to recognize the reason of no reproduced sound output from a speaker is because a selector unit does not select a PC unit. SOLUTION: By the operation of the user, when a volume level of an amplifier unit is modified, a mute state of the amplifier unit is modified, a volume level of the PC unit is modified or the sound setting of a sound program is modified, it is considered that the user is in trouble because no sound is reproduced from the PC unit. Also, when the supply of sound signals from the PC unit to the selector unit continues for a predetermined time or longer, it is considered that the user is in trouble because no sound is reproduced from the PC unit. Accordingly, if such the conditions are satisfied and when the selector unit does not select the PC unit, by displaying the selected content in the selector unit, it is possible to make the user recognize the reason of no reproduced sound from the PC unit is because the selected content in the selector unit is other than the PC unit.
