PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a stator of an electric machine that prevents deterioration of assembly workability of outer coils and inner coils to a stator core even while forming a flange at the tip of a tooth, and a manufacturing method for the same. SOLUTION: Teeth comprise: first teeth 13 each having a flange 13a formed at the tip and mountable to a stator core 11; and second teeth 12 each arranged at a position adjacent to the first tooth 13 and each having a projection length, directed to the first tooth 13, of a flange 12a that is formed shorter than the flange 13a. The first teeth 13 are the teeth adjacent to outer coils 30U, 30V, and 30W outside the outer coils 30U, 30V, and 30W and the teeth adjacent to inner coils 40U, 40V, and 40W outside the inner coils 40U, 40V, and 40W.
