PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a telephone device which enhances a crime-prevention effect for a perpetration of a transfer fraud, etc., and also checks the person in the flesh and perform the crime prevention by a telephone device only. SOLUTION: The telephone device includes a communication part and an input part. Further, the telephone device includes a record part for recording checking information including a question writing or instructions writing for checking the person in the flesh for a predetermined person, and destination information indicating a destination of the checking information. Further, the telephone device includes a sending control part which sends a predetermined voice to a telephone called party when the input part detects a predetermined operation while a telephone call line is established by the communication part, and also sends the checking information to the destination indicated by the destination information. When the sending control part detects the predetermined operation while the telephone call line is established by the communication part, the sending control part sends e-mail including the checking information to a predetermined mail address by use of a mail sending part.
