摘要 PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an automated transport system allowing increase of the number of stop positions and the number of branch points without increasing the number of mounted memories. SOLUTION: A transport route 1 is formed from two transport path groups 1<SB>L</SB>, 1<SB>R</SB>, and one shared path 1<SB>C</SB>shared by the two transport path groups 1<SB>L</SB>, 1<SB>R</SB>. After the first branch point B1 at which branch is performed to the two transport path groups 1<SB>L</SB>, 1<SB>R</SB>from the shared path 1<SB>C</SB>, branch paths W1<SB>L</SB>-W25<SB>L</SB>, W1<SB>R</SB>-W25<SB>R</SB>, and stop positions ST001-ST050, ST101-ST150 are disposed such that the two transport path groups 1<SB>L</SB>, 1<SB>R</SB>have the same positional relation. In the first branch point B1, an AGV (Auto Guided Vehicle) 10 is advanced to one of the two transport path groups 1<SB>L</SB>, 1<SB>R</SB>by an instruction from an HS 20.
