PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a toner which is superior in environmental stability and uniformity in chargeability and has both compatibility in fixability and heat resistance. SOLUTION: The toner has a core-shell structure containing at least two kinds of resin having a polyester skeleton, and a releasing agent and is such that peaks that derive from magnesium, calcium, or aluminum in mother toner particles are not observed in qualitative analysis using an X-ray measuring instrument. Preferably, core particles constituting the core-shell structure contain a resin, having a first polyester skeleton and a shell material covering the core particles contains a resin having a second polyester skeleton different from the first polyester skeleton.
