PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an optical fiber cord of a narrowed diameter, in which sufficient tensile strength is maintained and occurrence of kink is suppressed. SOLUTION: The optical fiber cord 1 includes a coated optical fiber 2; a fibrous tension member 3, attached vertically in the longitudinal direction to the outer periphery of the coated optical fiber 2; and a jacket 4, which covers the outer periphery of the tension member 3 and whose outermost layer 4b at least includes a polyurethane resin. Outside diameter Do is≥2.6 mm and≤3.2 mm, the tension member 3 is filled for 3,400d or more, the thickness T of the jacket 4 is≥0.85 mm, the thickness To of the outermost layer 4b of the jacket 4 is≥0.45 mm, and an interposed layer 4a is provided between the outermost layer 4b and the tension member 3.
