PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To reduce the deterioration in the GPS reception sensitivity of a GPS built-in type imaging device due to photographer's hand or internal electrical noise. SOLUTION: A GPS-receiving section is disposed on the upper part of a lens that is less likely to be touched by a photographer's hand gripping an imaging device during photographing. This prevents deterioration in the sensitivity of the upper side of the imaging device due to a human body, during normal use of the imaging device, and also reduces the influence of electrical noise, from other electrical noise source in the imaging device.
