PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a projector that improves operability of an operation part. SOLUTION: Two operating mechanisms 5 and 6, a main operating mechanism 5 and a sub operating mechanism 6, are provided to one foot part 4. Engagement of an engaging part 524 with the foot part 4 is disengaged by operating either of the operation parts 523 and 612 of the respective operating mechanisms 5 and 6, and a projection amount of the foot part 4 is adjusted. Thus, the operability of the operation parts 523 and 612 is improved because a user can operate either of the operation parts 523 and 612 which exists on the side which the user can operate more easily depending on his or her bodily position, bodily posture, etc., without covering functional parts by his or her arms or hands. Also, the sub operating mechanism 6 is easily incorporated in a proper position in an exterior housing 2 because the sub operating mechanism 6 is provided independently of the main operating mechanism 5. Therefore, the sub operating mechanism 6 is provided such that the second operation part 612 is in the best position in relation to an arrangement of a functional part, thereby satisfactorily improving the operability of the operation part 612.
